Who We Are

We have been serving the Calgary Area since 2000. You’ll be cared for by our highly trained staff of dental professionals, energized to work as a team while providing the highest quality of care for your dental health.

Our clinic is a state of the art facility using modern advances such as Digital X-rays and computer imaging. Our Digital X-ray system uses 60% less radiation when compared to conventional X-rays and requires no darkroom to develop. The film is developed right before your eyes and the image is displayed on a TV screen in front of you.

The computer imaging we use helps you to see details inside of you mouth that would otherwise be difficult. Dr. Scarlett performs all aspects of Dentistry including: Wisdom Teeth removal, Orthodontics, Cosmetic Dentistry, Root Canal Therapy, Filings and Emergency Care.

Our objective is to provide quality dental care to each of our patients in a comfortable and relaxed environment.

Our Team

Dr. Scarlett is a 1996 graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Upon Graduation he spent a year working in Colorado before returning to his home in Calgary. His special interest in Wisdom Teeth surgery, Orthodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry has lead him to take several courses and seminars on the subjects. He routinely incorporates these into his daily practice. Dr. Scarlett was born in Jamaica and migrated to Canada in 1977 with his family.

Education

Dr. Scarlett graduated in 1996 with a Degreee in Dental Surgery from Marquette receiving the top award for Ethics & Law. The Marquette University School Dentistry located in Milwakee, Winsconsin began in 1894. By 1923 it was given its own dedicated building and became “the largest dental clinic under one roof” with 167 chairs. In 2002 a new facility was constructed where the school focuses on “patient-centered” education and continues to be great place to teach, learn and recieve treatment.

Certification

Dr. Scarlett began practise in Colarado before returning to Calgary. He has thus passed both the American and Canadaian dental board exams and is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Alberta Dental Association and the Calgary District Dental Society.

ALLISHEA

Allishea has been a part of the team at Coral Springs Dental for over 10 years. She is likely the first voice you'll hear when you call the office. She is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to dealing with insurance claims and insurance companies.

KARM

Karm has been a team member for 7 years and she is at the front desk answering the phones and putting out many fires. She is fluent in Punjabi and is a valuable member of the team, especially when translating for those patients who don't speak English.

Shivinder has been serving patients at Coral Springs Dental for 11 years and is our main Dental Hygienist. She too is fluent in Punjabi and is known for her very gentle technique

Christine has been with Coral Springs Dental for over 17 years. She is the first face you'll see as you enter the back office as she runs the main chair with Dr. Scarlett.
